“To love is to stop comparing.” – Bernard Grasset
The last thing I want is this blog post to come across as preachy, because girl I STRUGGLE with this! If anything I am preaching to myself as I write this! Social Media plays a huge role in this as we are constantly scrolling and seeing *what looks like* everyone’s perfect life before us. Even when preparing yourself for this boudoir photography session, you will most likely go to Pinterest for inspiration. Which I encourage you to do, but the problem comes when you look at that inspiration and say, “I like this, but I will never look that (beautiful, skinny, perfect).” If you don’t hear anything today, but this: Be Real, not Perfect! Celebrate those things that make you who you are, and don’t be afraid to be imperfectly, perfect. So how do you break this cycle of comparing yourself with others? Here are some tips I’ve found useful at: https://zenhabits.net/lifes-enough-stop-comparing-yourself-to-others/
