Beautiful, Boudoir Makeup Looks

You’ve booked your boudoir session and are super psyched about it. You can’t wait to feel like an absolute goddess and be seriously pampered by our hair and make-up team for the day. You are looking forward to sipping on a mimosa and jamming out to your favorite playlist.  Sometimes, clients know exactly the looks and outfits that they want and even share their Pinterest vision boards with me. But other times, clients have no idea the look they are going for and can feel overwhelmed with all the details. The clothes, the hair, the poses, and the makeup. Have no fear, I'm here to help guide you through everything! 

When it comes to make-up,  there are a lot of looks to choose from, but these are the three I recommend for boudoir.
Enhanced Natural Beauty: 
If the look you are going for is still looking like you, but an enhanced version—this makeup look is ideal. The camera tends to eat up color, so you will be wearing more makeup than usual.  Try a matte natural or nude lip color. Maybe some nude eyes, with fake lashes to help make them pop. After your makeup is finished you will have bright eyes and more of a neutral lip, but you will feel glammed up and beautiful!

Sexy and Dramatic Vixen:
This is your look if you really want to transform yourself into the ultimate glam girl. Maybe you are thinking old Hollywood, retro pin up.  Sultry, smoldering, dramatic eyes, and a sexy red lip? Hello beautiful! This look really plays up your eyes, which is perfect because they are the focal point to create so many stunning images. 

 The Girl Who Wants to Try it All:
Stuck between the different looks? Want to be bold and glamorous, but the sexy and dramatic look is too much for you? Especially when you’ve never done anything like this before. How about somewhere in the middle of these glam looks? Think similar to an enhanced natural look with a neutral lip, but then builds up be more dramatic with a bold lip.  This is one of my favorite options as it gives your album a fun transition.
