What to wear for your boudoir session

As you can imagine the one area that makes women the most nervous about doing a boudoir session is: What to Wear.

It’s definitely the subject I get asked the most questions about, but don’t worry I am here to help! I send all my clients helpful guides about wear to shop, how to pick pieces for their body type, and even send links to my favorite pieces. But even better, I have a full client closet of beautiful outfits I’ve collected over the years in a variety of shapes, colors, modesty levels, and sizes XS-6X.

If you need a few ideas to get the ball rolling, here are my (and my clients) 3 favorite looks:

• Weekend Sexy Vibe - Imagine lounging around the house on a Saturday morning with a mimosa in your hands (life before kids I know haha) - What would you be wearing? Your husband’s Oxford shirt, your favorite t-shirt, a robe, simple white sheet, or an oversized sweater and socks?

• Everyday Sexy - Grab your favorite Bra & Panty set, bodysuit, or teddy. This one is all about the fit. You want pieces that fit perfectly, not too tight, but highlight all the right areas. You can have lots of fun with the colors that look best on you.

• Bombshell Sexy - This is when you get to step out of your everyday comfort zone and see a different side to yourself. Bustiers, Garter Belts, and Thigh Highs (you know the things we don’t have the time or energy to put on at home ) add that extra sexy punch to your photos.

My personal favorite is to incorporate each of these looks in this order, so your final album tells a little story (and if it’s for a gift…..leaves their jaw on the floor).
